![]() In Luke 10 we read about how Jesus Christ sought to extend the reach of his ministry with a short term missions team. His goal was to achieve the greatest possible impact that he could. As we consider the mission work, we can learn a number of lessons about the gospel and our role in propagating it.
![]() This passage presents us with with a vivid portrayal of Jesus' love for his people. His resolve to go to Jerusalem and the restraint he has in not acting vindictively towards the Samaritans prove that his mission is to die for his people's salvation and that he would not be sidetracked from it.
He detailed how different life is for the Christians there; pointing out how while they have very little in terms of worldly goods they are rich in faith good works towards God. Listen to Mark tell of those who are longing to know Christ and follow him in 'the deeper way."
