The Tract Apostle, as we jokingly call our brother Joe, picked up 200 of The Biggest Question DVD's this past week. He and Pastor Matt headed out to distribute them at Ashland University today. It was a frosty 28 degrees and their hands were numb by the end, but the students seemed quite interested. Very few refused. The Biggest Question is a 50 minute video that goes through the basics of the gospel with guys like Kirk Cameron and R.W. Glenn. The production is dynamic and contains fantastic illustrations. In other words, the DVD's are a great avenue for getting these students to interact with the truth of the gospel. |
![]() Christmas gets a lot of attention. That's to be expected being that it is the birth of the Son of God! But sometimes it casts a shadow over other great doctrines of the faith. This is most especially true of the Ascension of Christ. In this issue of our e-newsletter, we carve out some time to "set our minds on things above, where Christ is." (Colossians 2:2). We'll take a few moments to consider the practical implications of Christ's having been raised up to the Father's right hand.
Please note that subsequent meetings will be held at our regular venue in Mifflin. Also be sure to check back to find future updates and notices about service location.
![]() The hardest doctrine in the Bible to really grasp is not so much predestination or the doctrine of God's eternal wrath. Rather, the most difficult doctrine is the doctrine of God's love. Most people cannot believe just how far His love truly extends. In the parables of the Lost Sheep and Lost Coin Jesus clears the air by expressing his love for lost people.
