We at Providence Church did not take this wickedness lightly. It was a serious concern for prayer. Thanks to the organizing efforts of our in house evangelist a group of men from the church went to the event to pass out tracts, engage in evangelism, and stand for righteousness in the land. The picture above shows the men gathered in prayer prior to their going out to the event. There were a number of good gospel conversations that were had during the outing. We estimate that there were about 300 tracts passed out, which would have covered the majority of the people who attended the event. We pray that these men and women will come to a right understanding of sexuality and offer repentance that is pleasing in the sight of our Savior. Due to a scheduling conflict on July 26th Providence Church will be begin its morning service at 9:00 am.
Since the Cabin will not be available for us on June 28, we are taking advantage of the opportunity! We will be having a combined service with our friends from Covenant Reformed Chapel. We will meet at the Wooster fairgrounds, which is the halfway point for both our churches. We hope that you can join us for this special time!

So begins one of the most widely read books in the world: Pilgrim's Progress. John Bunyan's classic is said to be the most popular piece of literature behind the Bible. And rightfully so. This work contains rich truths; all of which are encompassed in the most intriguing story line. For the next several months Providence's Sunday night fellowship group will be studying this great Christian classic. If you would like to join us, we welcome your participation. Each night we will read a short section and then discuss it together to tease out the Biblical truths it contains. Books are provided. Studies are held at 6:30 pm each Sunday at Pastor Matt's house [1010 Chestnut St.] For more information, contact Matt. ![]() We continue to hear the wise marital counsel of Richard Baxter in our latest newsletter.
