The kingdom of God doesn't come in the same way the rest of the kingdoms on earth come. That is why Jesus expresses openly talks about his kingdom's presence, plight, and perfection. Since this kingdom is so different, people might be tempted to ignore it or write it off as too insignificant for real concern. Yet with these words Jesus encourages us to enter this kingdom and be faithful members of it, despite what our eyes may behold around us. |
![]() The hardest doctrine in the Bible to really grasp is not so much predestination or the doctrine of God's eternal wrath. Rather, the most difficult doctrine is the doctrine of God's love. Most people cannot believe just how far His love truly extends. In the parables of the Lost Sheep and Lost Coin Jesus clears the air by expressing his love for lost people.
